The Summer Lovers is an internacional and dynamic band created in 2014 featuring key figures from the Barcelona’s music scene. Led by London born singer/saxophonist Rhys Pyefinch the band plays tribute to some of the history’s greats such as Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra and invites you into the goldern era with their infectious mix of swing and dance floor classics.
With their sensational stage presence and finely tuned elegance this band explodes with energy and depth of muscial quality
In their short but intense career the band have played on both national and international stages from Madrid to San Sebastian, Italy to France and in 2019 opened for the Beach Boys at Barcelona’s renowned Festival de Pedralbes.

The Summer Lovers es una banda internacional que nace en el 2014, compuesta por varios de los músicos más representativos de la escena musical de Barcelona. Capitaneados por Rhys Pyefinch, cantante y saxofonista londinense, este proyecto quiere rendir homenaje a sus músicos favoritos, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong o Frank Sinatra entre otros, e invitarle a vivir una experiencia a través de la música hacia la época del swing, aquellos años dorados de música trepidante.
Podríamos definir este proyecto como elegante y divertido, pues su puesta en escena y su espectáculo en directo son una explosión de energía donde la calidad musical y la alegría desenfrenada caminan de la mano.
En su corta pero intensa trayectoria han tocado por escenarios de Madrid, San Sebastián o Santander, en Festivales como el de Pedralbes o el "Jazz And Beer" en Barcelona y mas allá de nuestras fronteras en Italia, Francia o Montenegro.
